1. Design & Documentation

• Assist in developing electrical system designs including power distribution lighting grounding and control systems.
• Prepare technical drawings schematics and layouts using general design software tools.
• Support the creation of project documentation such as single-line diagrams cable schedules and equipment specifications.

1. Project Support

• Collaborate with senior engineers to perform load calculations short circuit studies and equipment selection.
• Participate in site surveys inspections and commissioning activities as required.
• Contribute to project planning including timelines budgets and resource coordination.

1. Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams project managers and external consultants.
• Participate in technical meetings and design reviews to support the successful execution of projects.
• Communicate effectively to gather technical input and relay engineering information across disciplines.

1. Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes standards and client specifications.
• Assist with internal quality control checks and peer reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to electrical engineering in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 2-4 years of experience in electrical engineer for oil and gas facilities.
• Familiarity with general electrical design and analysis software (e.g. CAD modeling and calculation tools).
• Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC IEC).
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
