The Modules Production Supervisors direct and manage production operations for the Modules Product Line.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and manage the manufacture and assembly of product to ensure manufacturing objectives are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Participate in continuous operational improvement through the use of six sigma lean 5S kaizen VSM and other tool sets with the help of the Hale CI Manager.
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Plan and establish work schedules assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Inspect materials products or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES

• Understanding of manufacturing processes quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Familiarity with inventory control procedures and systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members management and other departments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in a related field or five years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Six Sigma Green belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Value Stream Mapping and Lean Manufacturing.
