The Records Processor contributes to the overall success of the Recorders Office mission by performing a variety of general clerical and support services.
About Us
The Maricopa County Recorders Office (MCRO) is responsible for maintaining the Maricopa County voter registration records and for administering over elections in partnership with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The MCRO also maintains the permanent public record of over 50 million documents dating back to 1871 including deeds plat maps and a variety of other important documents. Our office serves over 2.5 million registered voters as well as 4.4 million residents across Maricopa County. We Require
Two years of experience performing office administrative and clerical duties
High school diploma or GED
Post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
Two years of experience in a title company mortgage office or County Recorders Office
Experience in real estate transactions
Job Contributions
Opens and records documents received by mail for recordation
Accepts documents received via digital submission from companies
Assigns recording numbers and ensures compliance with current recording standards and statutes
Creates labels electronically and mails out recorded documents
Prepares documents including plat maps for processing
Executes the microfilming and optical scanning of documents
Performs data entry of grantor and grantee information as needed
Working Conditions
Working at a desk public counter and public assistance area in an environmentally controlled office
Duties may be performed in one or more of the following areas: Public Assistance Document Operations Digital Recording Micrographics Mail Out/Data Entry
Lifting 30 pounds floor to waist
Carrying 30 pounds a distance of 15 feet
