This position is part of the R&D department located in Waltham MA and will be on-site. At Aldevron we combine best-in-class products and servicewith the ideal operating environment to lay the groundworkfor vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the cell-free DNA team and report to a Senior Scientist responsible for cell-free DNA process improvements.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

Perform experiments and generate data for one or more projects under the guidance of the team lead or team members
Produce and purify nucleic acids proteins and other biologics
Compile report and present experimental findings
Collaborate inter and intra-departmentally
Participate in generating new ideas and brainstorming solutions

The essential requirements of the job include:

BS degree biology molecular biology biochemistry chemistry or related discipline
1 years of experience
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation/record keeping skills
Ability to work independently after being trained in a task
Knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as PCR electrophoresis ELISA etc

Travel:

Limited travel may be required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Experience in mammalian cell culture techniques including expression-based assays flow cytometry and cell viability assays
Experience in NGS or long-read sequencing technologies
