Our clienthas a growing tech department that develops a web-based platform. The software products are built around continuous improvement risk management time and cost monitoring and knowledge-sharing within Drilling and Wells. The products are designed to consolidate information throughout the entire well delivery process.

The diverse team consists of developers engineers and salespersons who are all passionate about creating next generation software for a historically very conservative industry. However it is now undergoing a dramatic change and we are experiencing increased interest from large international companies around the world.

The new software developers will join a small team of developers looking to build more front-end and operational muscle.
The portfolio is built on modern frameworks utilizing relevant technologies. The motivation and need for scaling up the team is to further enhance our software packages to become even more relevant for the energy industry internationally. This applies for both development and delivery backend and frontend.
Most of the team is located at the head office in Oslo but the team also includes developers working remote sales/engineering teams in Kuala Lumpur Perth and Houston.

On behalf of our client we are looking for software developers in several disciplines who are eager to join our group and look at diverse code learn discuss tooling and stake out an iterative course. You are someone who sees opportunity and value in being an integral part of specifying scheduling and executing an architectural roadmap for an existing but expanding software platform. We are seeking someone who appreciates the opportunity to influence and have a noticeable impact on the development of our software.
This is a fulltime position that reports to the Clients Technical Project Manager. As a software developer you will work within our awesome team of engineers and developers serving clients globally. The selected candidate will be part of an expanding team and will play a key role in contributing to the companys future growth.

QUALIFICATIONS - General:
Engineer with BSc Msc or PhD degree within relevant discipline related to computer science
3 years of experience working with web-based applications
Familiar with working in a SCRUM/Agile environment

SPECIFICS - Back-end/full stack/front-end developer:
Familiar with at least:
One database
One build system
One compiler
One interpreter
One server-side framework
One client-side framework
