Are you ready to take your career to the next level Cohesity is seeking a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering to join our world-class team. As the Senior Manager of Sales Engineering you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales efforts by providing exceptional technical leadership and expertise.

HOW YOULL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Leading the Technical Sales team in Japan.

  • Working with the Japan Country Manager and the APJ CTO to define and execute on the technical go-to-market plan for Japan.

  • Accountability for the business performance of Cohesitys solution offerings portfolio in Japan

  • Ensuring the effective positioning of Cohesitys solution offerings to our customers in Japan.

  • Leading the technical engagement with Cohesitys channel partners in Japan.

  • Working as part of the International Technical Sales Leadership team to define and execute the technology engagement lifecycle for the Geography.

  • Assuring the effective delivery of post-sales technical services in Japan.

  • Leveraging Cohesitys global technical community including Technical Sales Engineering and Product Management to support customer and partner engagement in Japan.

  • Acting as Cohesitys CTO for Japan with direct senior-level engagements with customers partners analysts and press.


WED LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

  • Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese language

  • At least 5 years experience in a technical leadership role preferred in an IT vendor similar to Cohesity (i.e. subscription-based soft-ware/SaaS)

  • Experience in the following technical areas required: Storage Backup Virtualization Linux CLI IT infrastructure cyber-security

  • Additional experience highly desirable in: Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance Database Protection and Recovery Distributed Systems Public Cloud (AWS Azure GCP) Layer 2 Networking and Firewalls Scripting/Automation Visio or equivalent application

  • Excellent communication and project-related skills are also required

  • Strong verbal communication/presentation skills

  • Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills

  • Strong collaboration skills and experience in leading effective meetings to achieve project goals

  • The ability to manage projects and to drive to a deadline

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity streamline workflows and support decision making.

    In-Office Expectations

    Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
