Qualifications

High School Diploma
Demonstrate aptitude for the work to be performed in an environment of high expectations and with adolescent learners
Preferred previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary setting
Preferred Previous experience supporting job skill development

Job Expectations:

Supervise and support students completing work-based learning skills in the schools Cafe leReve work site
Supervise and support students preparing serving and cleaning in the Cafe leReve worksite
Supervise and support students in a general education classroom environment
Provide behavioral and academic support in both regular and special education classrooms with poise and confidence
Complete assigned tasks efficiently accurately and in a timely manner and without constant supervision
Demonstrate flexibility confidentiality and professionalism
Promote a positive learning environment for students while maintaining discipline when needed
Maintain and operate a variety of assistive technology
Accept tasks and responsibilities willingly and pleasantly from both teachers and/or case managers
Maintain above average attendance including attendance to necessary in-service and staff trainings/meetings
Administer and monitor regular classroom testing and statewide testing
Assist with direct observation/data collection and assessment for the RTI process
Facilitate re-teaching and extra instruction in a wide variety of courses including math English social studies science and foreign language
