The Small Business Banking Lending Team is seeking an on-site intern for the 10-week Summer 2026 Internship Program at Live Oak Bank in Wilmington NC.
How This Role impacts Live Oak and its People
As a part of the SBB Lending Team the Production Intern will help the team with project specific work related to SBA lending at Live Oak Bank. The Production Intern will have exposure to the Underwriting and Lending teams and their process as well as the opportunity to learning about the SOP and SBA lending.
What Youll Do at Live Oak
Assist lenders in getting loan packages ready for underwriting
Setup borrowing structures in Prism
Document upload from Sharefile to Prism
Review lender files for accuracy in Prism prior to underwriting submission
Learn about the bank (Banking 101)
Learn about the SOP and SBA lending
Required and Preferred Experience
Degree- seeking student
Exceptional representative of the company: professional passionate and knowledgeable
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Strong collaboration problem solving organizational and interpersonal communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $19.23 - $31.25 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidates salary is determined by several factors including travel relevant work experience or skills and expertise.Please note that we provide at least the minimum requirement of paid sick leave to our employees who reside in states that require employer-paid sick leave including but not limited to Arizona California Colorado District of Columbia Maine Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Nevada New Jersey New Mexico New York Oregon Rhode Island Vermont and Washington.
