Job Summary
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager - Softlines a Clothing Processing Outfitter is responsible for accurately and effectively stocking merchandise to the sales floor and excess quantities in the stock room. This position supports back-room and clothing standards and takes ownership of the sales floor presentation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to evaluate customers needs and make recommendations based on needs
- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customers expectations
- Ability to use good judgment and logic
- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
- Knowledge of Cabelas specific products is an asset
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Receives and prepares merchandise for entry into retail or warehouse stock
- Accurately stocks merchandise to the sales floor in the proper home locations following fill procedures
- Perform replenishment tasks across departments including filling folding repackaging sorting facing hanging and locating items
- Provide legendary customer service every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers needs and making product recommendations based off of this analysis
- Promote Cabelas programs including Voice of the Customer (VOC) and In-Store Pick-Up
- Assure visual presentation standards are met by up-keep and maintenance including but not limited to in-store signage merchandise recovering/front facing restockingre-merchandising dusting and vacuuming sales floor as needed
- Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle
- Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate
