Duties include the following:Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of clients developmental status and the development of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) with responsibility for identifying goals objectives and strategies related to the childs development. Review and revise IFSP at least every three months. Provide direct services to clients according to their IFSPs to include home visits child groups and parent groups. Monitor developmental status of assigned clients for direct service consultation and/or assessment. Provide ongoing consultation to multidisciplinary team members. Collaborate with the appropriate team members for coordination of child group services. Complete progress notes reports assessments and correspondence as appropriate. Participate in developmental screenings in the community. Document all necessary information for the upkeep of client files including but not limited to evaluations progress notes and routine forms. Provide in-services and trainings about Early Intervention early childhood development and related topics to community daycare centers and social or human service agencies on a limited basis. Travel required to client homes and/or daycare location to provide and Education include:Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education; Early Intervention and Early Childhood Education Special Education Child Development Child Studies or related fieldsSuccessful completion of at least 4 approved 3-credit courses that focus on infants toddlers and/or families.
