Job Description:
The Revenue Cycle Supervisor reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for insurance verification for providing support to the revenue cycle team with a focus on insurance verification referral and authorization management. The supervisor will be responsible for promoting an atmosphere of teamwork and drive employee engagement.

Job Description:
The Revenue Cycle Supervisor reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for insurance verification for providing support to the revenue cycle team with a focus on insurance verification referral and authorization management. The supervisor will be responsible for promoting an atmosphere of teamwork and drive employee engagement.
Qualifications / Job Duties:
- Manage supervise and monitor daily workflow of team
- Monitor team assigned KPIs to ensure compliance address deficiencies
- Develop productivity metrics for staff based upon function
- Develop consistent communication process for providing feedback to staff and other departments
- Provide staff with continual education of interpreting accounts EOBs patients financial responsibility and customer service skills.
- Monitor and provide routine updates of prior authorization predetermination requirements and payer coverage guidelines to team
- Monitor and assist in the maintenance of master Payer Listing
- Monitor and report any coding payer or compliance issue to Revenue Cycle Manager
- Review and approve all adjustments to patient accounts for collections and payment plans and ensuring clear documentation of reason.
- Preform prelisting of patients for Bad Debt
- Work as a liaison between patients and St. Lukes protocols
- Be a Super User of Practice Management system with a focus on insurance verification referral and authorization management
- Address routine HR issues enforce company policies
- Provide training support to other departments as needed.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Minimum 2 years practical experience collecting Accounts Receivable
- Minimum 5 years experience in a customer service setting
- Basic knowledge of Medical billing coding and insurance plans
- Proficient in interpreting payer contracts and medical coverage guidelines
- Practical process improvement experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to gather create and execute training of staff
- Ability to outline opportunities for staff development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; with Practice Management system and EMR experience required
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of private information
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude
