Application Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and motivated Application Developer to join a dynamic team.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $80000$95000 (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain applications across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with team members through pair-programming Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
- Build and maintain automated tests to ensure the delivery of high-quality production applications.
- Translate design specifications into scalable and user-friendly applications.
- Research and recommend new tools frameworks and methodologies to enhance development processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with modern web development frameworks such as HTML JavaScript CSS Ruby/jRuby Java ColdFusion or System i programming.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and version control systems like Git is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
