About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced MES Operations Manager to join our Factory Digitalization Team. This specialist role focuses on the management development and continuous improvement of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across the factory. The position requires deep expertise in production system environments along with a proven track record in implementation support and continuous improvement.
This is a B2B consultant role located in Wroclaw and requires on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the MES system across the factory.
- Collaborate with the digitalization team to identify needs select the right solutions and partners and lead the implementation of the MES.
- Ensure a smooth handover and stable operations post-implementation including providing first-line support to blueprint experts and production operators.
- Drive ongoing development and continuous improvement of the MES system.
- Ensure the system is used as intended and fully aligned with production processes and requirements.
- Capture and visualise all key performance indicators (KPIs) through the MES to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in production system environments
- Proven track record in MES selection implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Solid understanding of production processes and factory digitalization.
- Experience in supporting production teams and ensuring proper system usage.
- Ability to translate business and operational needs into MES functionalities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive hands-on mindset.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Effective implementation of MES within agreed time and budget.
- System stability uptime and reliability.
- Continuous improvement and alignment of MES with factory needs.
- Quality of support provided to blueprint experts and operators.
- Accuracy and usability of KPI capture and visualisation.
- Adoption and correct usage of MES across the factory.
