Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Practical experience as a Network Engineer in a complex multi-platform multi-protocol environment.
Requires expertise in network monitoring analysis management and configuration tools or expertise with server/systems monitoring and management tools.
Understanding of business and clinical applications within a healthcare environment.
Packet-level expertise in network traffic analysis.
Competent with mainstream office automation project management and communications tools.
Strong project management and interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities provide strong team leadership and work effectively as a team player.
Requires expertise in all LAN and WAN operation aspects switching routing topology QoS Multicast network protocols software-defined networking Wireless and Metro Ethernet.
Knowledge and experience of the following: MPLS NAC VPN remote access servers security devices firewalls security protocols IDS/IPS NAT/PAT ACS Adaptive Authentication SecurID RadiLDAP/TACACS.
Work collaboratively with team members to secure and mitigate risk across the company.

Desired Qualifications :

6-8 years of network support experience and strong technology background in managing and troubleshooting Multi-OS LAN/WAN/WLAN/DMZ infrastructure for a large enterprise
L2/L3 Technologies: IP subnetting IP routing routing/switching protocols like BGP EIGRP OSPF GLBP VRRP HSRP MPLS IPv6 and Multicast.
Thorough understanding and ability to analyze Packet captures/traces
Excellent interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
A Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
Excellent understanding of Networking concepts not Limited to Routing and Switching
Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot data and voice network outages
