Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Practical experience as a Network Engineer in a complex multi-platform multi-protocol environment.
- Requires expertise in network monitoring analysis management and configuration tools or expertise with server/systems monitoring and management tools.
- Understanding of business and clinical applications within a healthcare environment.
- Packet-level expertise in network traffic analysis.
- Competent with mainstream office automation project management and communications tools.
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities provide strong team leadership and work effectively as a team player.
- Requires expertise in all LAN and WAN operation aspects switching routing topology QoS Multicast network protocols software-defined networking Wireless and Metro Ethernet.
- Knowledge and experience of the following: MPLS NAC VPN remote access servers security devices firewalls security protocols IDS/IPS NAT/PAT ACS Adaptive Authentication SecurID RadiLDAP/TACACS.
- Work collaboratively with team members to secure and mitigate risk across the company.
Desired Qualifications :
- 6-8 years of network support experience and strong technology background in managing and troubleshooting Multi-OS LAN/WAN/WLAN/DMZ infrastructure for a large enterprise
- L2/L3 Technologies: IP subnetting IP routing routing/switching protocols like BGP EIGRP OSPF GLBP VRRP HSRP MPLS IPv6 and Multicast.
- Thorough understanding and ability to analyze Packet captures/traces
- Excellent interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
- A Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
- Excellent understanding of Networking concepts not Limited to Routing and Switching
- Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot data and voice network outages
