Job Summary

RN- Cardiac Telemetry (Permanent Role)

Location: Independence MO 64050

Shift: 12-hr Day/Night Rotate

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver both therapeutic and administrative nursing care services to patients.
Provide care aligned with hospital and department policies while supporting the mission of CenterPoint Medical Center.
Deliver nursing care to patients aged 16 and older (young adult to geriatric).
Stabilize patients under age 16 until appropriate transfer.
Utilize advanced knowledge in psychosocial spiritual pathophysiological and therapeutic care specific to cardiac and step-down patient needs.
Ensure patient safety by identifying risks and implementing hazard mitigation strategies.

Patient Population:

Young Adults (18 39 years)
Adults (40 64 years)
Geriatric (65 years)
Adolescents (16 17 years until stabilized for transfer)

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Diploma ADN or BSN)
License: Active Missouri RN License or Multistate RN License (Compact State)
Certifications:
- BLS-Basic Life Support (Required upon hire)
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Required within 1 year of hire)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
