Job Summary
Physical Therapist (Permanent Role)
Location: Pensacola FL 32501
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Assess and evaluate each patients therapeutic rehabilitative and functional status to establish a clinical baseline and contribute to the development of a personalized plan of care.
- Deliver evaluations and treatment interventions in line with professional standards and legal scope of practice.
- Assess patients functional status and contribute to comprehensive individualized care plans.
- Provide skilled goal-oriented therapeutic care primarily in the patients home or facility-based setting.
- Instruct patients families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises techniques and the use of appliances or prosthetics.
- Manage caseloads effectively by determining priorities coordinating handoffs and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy (REQUIRED)
- Current Physical Therapist License in the state of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Open to New Graduates-no prior experience required
