Master A Technician - $35.00 - $40.00 per hour/Flat Rate (additional pay if qualified as Shop Foreman)
Quick Service Technicians - $18.00 - $25.00 per hour/Flat Rate

Job Overview
Well-established dealership south of Chesapeake VA is seeking both a skilled Nissan-certified A-Level Automotive Technician as well as Quick Service Technicians to join our team.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance on vehicles including oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
Maintain knowledge of automotive electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
Work on powertrain components to ensure optimal performance of vehicles.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic.
Proficient in vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
Expertise in automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
Familiarity with powertrain components and their functions.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to client.
Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
Preferred Nissan or other Japanese experience.
