Job Summary

Job Title - Senior Data Engineer

Location- Kharadi Pune(Onsite)

Experience Required 5 yrs

Job Type - WFO(Ongoing Contract/ C2H)

Role Purpose:

As a Senior Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data into valuable insights that inform business decisions. Your expertise in PostgreSQL Databricks Python and Azure will be crucial in ensuring the quality security and reliability of our data solutions.

Mandatory Skills

1. Strong programming skills in Python especially with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.

2. Extensive experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics and/or any other Apache Spark distribution.

3. Knowledge of Database (PostGre)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL including database design optimization and management.
- Extensive experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics and/or any other Apache Spark distribution.
- Strong programming skills in Python especially with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience with Azure services for data storage processing and analytics.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cloud Platforms: Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Kafka.
Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools.
Identity and Access Management: Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions is a plus.
