Job Description
Job Description: Sr. ABAP Developer - Offshore (India)
2 month assignment - could be extended an extra Month
Start ASAP
Work Hours 1-10pm IST (flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of complex ABAP programs reports interfaces enhancements and forms.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions.
Conduct code reviews performance tuning and optimization of ABAP applications.
Develop and support custom objects using User Exits BADIs BAPIs Enhancement Framework and Object-Oriented ABAP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP module integrations and data migrations.
Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and documentation practices.
Participate in SAP upgrades patching and system maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development across multiple SAP modules.
Strong expertise in ABAP Workbench ALV reporting SAP Scripts and Object-Oriented ABAP.
Experience with integration technologies such as IDocs RFCs BAPIs and Web Services.
Solid understanding of SAP ECC or S/4HANA architecture and data models.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points:
Experience with SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) especially in DP SNP or PP/DS.
Knowledge of CIF (Core Interface) LiveCache and APO-specific data structures.
Familiarity with CDS views and OData services.
