The Role

We are looking for a talented and tech-savvy Customer Communications Officer (CRM) to join our team. This is a hybrid role that blends creative storytelling with data-driven marketing. You will not only craft compelling messages but also ensure they reach the right customer at the right time through sophisticated targeting.

Working closely with our Growth Associate and Marketing Manager youll dive deep into our customer data to understand behaviour and identify key segments for targeted campaigns. A major part of your role will be to master our CRM platform using it to build test and deploy communications across email SMS and other channels. Alongside this technical ownership you will be a guardian of our brands tone of voice ensuring every message is well-written perfectly proofread and speaks directly to the needs of small business owners.

Reporting to our Marketing & Communications Senior Manager youll gain invaluable experience at the intersection of marketing data and technology in a fast-paced FinTech environment. This is a brilliant opportunity for a strong communicator who is eager to develop in-demand technical marketing skills and see the direct impact of their work on hundreds of thousands of customers.

What youll be doing

  • Build test and deploy marketing campaigns and automated workflows using our CRM platform .
  • Draft edit and proofread a wide range of communications ensuring a high standard of quality.
  • Use customer data to build and refine audience segments for targeted campaigns.
  • Act as a guardian of our brands tone of voice across all customer communications.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist in preparing reports on key metrics.
  • Support A/B testing of subject lines copy and calls-to-action to improve effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Product Operations and Credit teams to gather information for customer updates.
  • Maintain a content calendar for customer communications to ensure a coordinated approach.
