This Position reports to:
Business Analytics ManagerAs a trusted and empowered member of the EL Business Insights Team you will support partnerships with ABB Business Areas and Divisions and develop a wide range of analytics solutions using visualization and analytics to provide data driven insights for decision making. You will be part of the Business Insights Team for helping to strengthen ABB performance through insightful analytics delivery. This team has grown over the years and we are currently looking for an experienced individual that will help us deal with increasing demand for our data products and widen the scope of the analytics we provide.
The working model is hybrid. The position is set to be global however with preference for candidates based in Europe specifically from Germany Hungary Italy Spain Trkiye Poland France Bulgaria Netherlands and Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the design development and upkeep of complex data pipelines dashboards and reporting tools to support critical business conclusions.
- Translate business objectives into processes systems and data structures to deliver actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Address business challenges by extracting and interpreting data-driven insights and effectively communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Design and implement experiments leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other advanced tools to enhance the detection of integrity risks among ABBs business partners.
- Identify and implement best practices in analytics and reporting including data integrity test design analysis validation and thorough documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in quantitative fields such as Economics Analytics Mathematics Statistics or Finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence data analytics data science or a related field.
- Deep understanding of SAP data structures and configuration especially SD FI-CO and MM modules.
- Proven business domain knowledge in at least one area such as Marketing and Sales Logistics Controlling Forensics Internal Controls or Procurement would be an advantage.
- Strong expertise in data extraction and manipulation using tools like Alteryx and SQL with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy.
- Proficiency in creating data visualizations using applications like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in English.
