Job Summary
Our Catholic school is seeking a caring dependable and faith-filled individual to serve as a Part-Time Classroom Aide. The aide will work closely with teachers and staff to support student learning classroom management and the overall mission of the school.
Essential Functions
- Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and small-group work
- Provide individual support to students as directed by the teacher
- Help maintain a safe respectful and faith-centered classroom environment
- Supervise students during recess lunch or transitions as assigned
- Support students with special learning or behavioral needs under teacher guidance
- Assist with preparing materials organizing supplies and setting up classroom activities
- Model Christian values and encourage positive student behavior
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with students staff and parents
- Other duties as assigned by the principal or classroom teacher
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma (required); some college or experience in education preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a school parish or childcare setting is a plus
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Patience flexibility and strong communication skills
Range: $22.00 Hourly
