Job Summary

Location -Lima Ohio

The CT Technologist operates within the mission values objectives procedures and policies of the Health System. This role involves the execution of various CT procedures both invasive and non-invasive which may require independent judgment. The technologist is expected to demonstrate creativity and initiative in performing ionizing radiation procedures utilized for radiological diagnoses. Additionally there may be a need to undertake supplementary responsibilities associated with designated duties.

Key competencies of a CT Technologist include but are not limited to the following:

The individual must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity for exhibiting patience and tact. It is essential to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with patients physicians and colleagues. Furthermore flexibility regarding changes in work schedules is required alongside a cooperative and collaborative attitude. The ability to perform tasks with speed and proficiency while operating under stress is also essential.

The technologist will be responsible for conducting a diverse array of CT examinations including neuro abdominal orthopedic and providing assistance to the Radiologist during invasive procedures.

Qualifications for this position are as follows:
- A minimum of one year of experience is required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Certification by the Ohio Department of Health is required.
- Experience in Computed Tomography (CT) is strongly preferred.
- ARRT registry in CT is preferred or must be obtained within one year of eligibility upon hire.
- Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiography Technology program or an equivalent program is required.
