Location - Keene New Hampshire
Under the guidance of the EKG/EEG/ECHO Supervisor and adhering to established technical standards this position is responsible for producing ultrasound images of the heart and related structures for patients of all ages enabling physician interpretation. An Echocardiographer must possess a solid understanding of the principles of growth and development throughout the life span and be skilled in gathering and evaluating information pertinent to the patients age-specific needs. This role involves providing the necessary care to achieve the desired clinical outcomes. Additionally the Echocardiographer must be adept at interpreting and adjusting therapeutic approaches based on the patients nonverbal cues psychosocial needs physical limitations and other specific concerns related to age or illness.
A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required along with an RDCS certification.
Certification Requirements:
