Pay:$25.00 to $30.00 DOE
Hours:1st Shift 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM OT as needed

Position Overview
We are seeking an experiencedMaintenance Mechanicto performroutine preventive and emergency maintenanceon a variety of plant equipment. As aMaintenance Mechanic you will ensure operational efficiency by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems in a food manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performroutine and preventive maintenanceon equipment such as conveyors grinders slicers packaging machines refrigeration units and other food processing machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repairmechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect diagnose and replace defective parts to maintainefficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular maintenance onrefrigeration and HVAC systemsfor proper temperature control and food safety.
- Adhere toOSHA USDA and FDAguidelines for safety and compliance.
- Assist withequipment installation upgrades and modifications.
- Maintain accuratemaintenance activity recordsincluding work orders repairs and inventory.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance to resolve equipment-related quality issues.
- Train production employees onproper equipment use and troubleshooting.
- Followcompany policies procedures and GMPs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GEDrequired; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3-5 yearsof maintenance experience in afood manufacturing or meat processing environment.
- Strongmechanical aptitudeand troubleshooting skills.
- Experience withelectrical systems PLCs and automated machineryis a plus.
- Knowledge offood safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to read and interprettechnical manuals schematics and blueprints.
- Strongproblem-solving skillsunder pressure.
- Willingness to workflexible hours including nights weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to liftup to 50 lbs stand for extended periods and work incold or humid environments.
