Job Summary:
As the Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Co-op you will report directly to the Director - MES Operations and utilize your knowledge excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to assist in the Manufacturing Engineering Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for manufacturing engineering and wants to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Term Arrangement: Onsite 5 days per week (Mon - Fri)
Work Term: Winter 2026 (Jan - Apr)
Location: 90 Belfield Rd. Etobicoke ON

Responsibilities

  • Work on plant layout updates & preparation of work instructions.
  • Assist in CAPEX projects with Project/ Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
  • Available for a 4 month placement for the Winter 2026 Co-op Work Term.
  • Good understanding of VBA & Python.
  • Some CAD experience in Solid Edge Solid Works or AutoCAD.
  • Some experience working with machines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
