Job Description

Reporting to the Operations management team you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the systems and tools that support global talent and workforce analytics across the business. This role will involve working with large clients in the insurance and investment sector and will allow you to develop your analytical consulting project management and IT skills. This opportunity is ideal for a graduate with strong technical foundations in C# HTML and SQL and a keen interest in data analytics AI insights and people-related data trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into clear data-driven insights and present findings in Management Information reports to share with stakeholders in an accessible and actionable format.
  • Conduct complex data analysis build systems integrations and dynamic dashboards in Power BI that identify key patterns relationships and trends in people data to glean useful business insight.
  • Develop your technical capabilities through hands-on experience in Python VBA and SQL applying these skills to support enhance and expand FNZs in-house talent management systems used globally across the organisation.
  • Analyse business processes contribute to the design and development of new system features and assist with deployment of more efficient and automated operating models to drive improved user experience and reduce manual intervention and operating risks for both FNZ and clients alike. Help to set-up automated tools to assist reporting and portfolio analysis.
  • Support the design and execution of research using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Participate in the ongoing evolution of FNZs analytics capability contributing to innovation in how data informs workforce planning and decision-making.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI-driven analysis predictive insights and advanced data modelling into our people analytics landscape.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

  • Hold graduate level qualifications in a numerical and analytical field or otherwise demonstrate solid skills in these areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Experience with and a strong interest in MS Excel SQL Python VBA Data Analytics.
  • A keen interest in analytics AI trend analysis and the role data plays in supporting business and strategies.
  • Highly organised self-motivated and eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team or alone with commitment to quality. Strong collaboration and communication skills particularly in working with non-technical stakeholders to understand needs and deliver usable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail analytical and problem-solving skills and an interest in working with large datasets and complex queries.
  • Prior experience in an insurance related field with proven automation is an advantage.
