Job Description
Job Summary
Drexel University is seeking a qualified candidate for a Part-time Assistant Wrestling Coach. This position will assist the wrestling program/Coach with the organizing planning and coaching of the wrestling team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate wrestler who is looking for a career in college coaching and is interested in assisting the coaching staff in all aspects of running a Division I Wrestling program.
Essential Functions
- Assist the Wrestling team during practices and competition.
- Assist with student-athlete athletic and academic development.
- Identify and recruit prospective student-athletes.
- Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising operations and logistics.
- Follow all University Athletic Department NCAA and CAA rules and policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Former collegiate wrestler or coach.
Physical Demands
- Typically standing walking
- Typically bending crouching stooping
- Typically running climbing
- Lifting demands 50lbs

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time Per Diem position classified as offered pay is based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience departmentbudget and an internal equity review.
