Job Summary
Heres What You Need
- Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine is requiredOr
- Associates Degree is preferred
- 2 Years in nuclear medicine is highly preferred
- ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Upon Hire is required Or
- CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire is required And
- CMRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire is required And
- BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
- Communication computer venipuncture
What You Will Do
- Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam
- Processes and manipulates images analyzes image quality troubleshoots makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed 8. Utilizes proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS
- Uses multidisciplinary team oriented actions
- Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time-out procedures
- Operates cares for and maintains equipment
- Exchanges and maintenance of film badges within designated time frames
- Utilizes ADKAR and CLAK during times of change
