Who We Are Seeking: We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable individual to join our team! In this role you will support key accounting functions - including travel coordination accounts payable and departmental support- with a shared commitment to achieving CVTCs mission of helping our citizens and community thrive.

Qualifications Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal customer service and leadership skills including the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds establish and maintain cooperative relationships and work successfully as a member of a team.
  • Strong time management problem-solving and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet sometimes competing deadlines.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment such as Xerox machines shredders and multi-line phone systems.

Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Drivers license and the ability to be insured on CVTCs vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.

Hiring Preferences: As allowed in P.L. 93-638 preference for employment will be given to Alaska Native and American Indian peoples. CVTC also applies family and local hiring preferences.
