You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Public Health Intern to join the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) Division of Licensing. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on public health experience by working on real-world projects alongside experienced professionals.
As an intern youll assist with daily operations and get exposure to various licensing teams. Youll also support key initiatives that directly impact communities across the state. This is your chance to contribute to vital public health work while building your skills and professional network.
Assist with data collection analysis and reporting for public health programs
Assist with administrative duties
Research public health topics policies and best practices
Opportunity to shadow compliance officers on healthcare surveys and more
Attend team meetings workshops and training sessions to gain a comprehensive understanding of public health operations
Contribute to special projects as assigned
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Public Health Health Administration Social Work or a related field
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Proficiency in Google
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Interest in state-level public health policy and practice
A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
