Job Description

Position Description:

NETSEA Technologies is seeking to fill multiple System Engineer positions in anticipation of a contract award. These roles offer exciting opportunities to contribute to mission-critical projects across various departments. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and encourage candidates with a range of experience levels to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the full systems engineering lifecycle including requirements analysis design integration testing and sustainment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine system architectures and specifications.
  • Interface with Army stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational and mission requirements.
  • Conduct trade studies risk assessments and performance evaluations.
  • Prepare technical documentation including system design descriptions interface control documents and test plans.
  • Participate in configuration management and change control processes.
  • Be responsible for engineering design development integration installation operation and maintenance.
  • Provide technical support in equipment labs.
  • Support technology insertion testing relative to emerging requirements and capabilities.

Location: Colorado Springs CO

Hours: Normal business hours Monday - Friday

Travel: This position involves approximately 25% travel. Provide technical expertise at field locations as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering (Preferred) Testing or a related field.
  • A minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of related system engineering experience. Alternatively BS may be substituted with an additional 7 years of related experience performing system engineering functions.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Army systems engineering efforts.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes (e.g. INCOSE DoD 5000).
  • Proficiency in tools used for modeling and requirements management platforms.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. INCOSE CSEP PMP ITIL).
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Familiarity with Army acquisition processes and technical standards.

Additional Information:

  • Candidates may be placed in roles that align with their expertise and organizational needs.
  • Positions are contingent upon contract award.
  • DOD Secret Security clearance is required.
