Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the rental vehicle service including reservations vehicle availability and customer pick-up and drop-off.
- Ensure all rental vehicles are properly cleaned maintained and fueled for the next customer.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their rental needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Resolve any issues or complaints related to rental services and escalate to management when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of rental transactions payments and vehicle maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date on all company policies procedures and rental vehicle offerings.
- Book warranty repair orders and submit claims of manufacturer warranty
- Work closely and effectively with team of technicians service writers and supervisors
- Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and to verify criteria.
- Stays up to date and knowledgeable of all factory recalls announcements and procedures.
- Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion accuracy and legibility according to the applicable policies and procedure manuals.
- Figure out the applicable labor operation code failure codes and/or other administrative data required and enter them on orders.
- Ensure that all deductibles are properly documented so they are collected from the customer at the time of repair completion/delivery
- Maintain record of all claims submitted returned/rejected and paid and their current status
- Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety welfare or integrity of the dealership its employees or customers
Qualifications
Experience using a dealership management system (DMS)
Strong communication skills and eagerness to improve
Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team
- Warranty experience is a plus
