NDDOT Temporary Equipment Operator II Salary: $27.11/hour

NDDOT Temporary Equipment Operator I Salary: $24.01/hour

As a Winter Temporary Equipment Operator your main duty will be basic snow and ice control and removal. You will also perform roadway and structure maintenance as needed. You will complete highway maintenance duties. You will also perform minor preventive and repair maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Maintain necessary paperwork including time records activity reporting daily diary road reports and other required documentation.

An important part of this position and the culture at the NDDOT is to maintain a safe working environment for yourself your coworkers and others.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered as a Temporary Equipment Operator II you must have a valid North Dakota Class A driver license with airbrakes and a cargo tank endorsement and two years of relevant experience.

To be considered as a Temporary Equipment Operator I you must have a valid North Dakota Class B driver license without airbrake restrictions.

This position requires reporting to work within 30 minutes after hours on weekends and on holidays during emergency events.

Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process and the required drug test medical screening reference check driver record check and federal clearinghouse query screening.
