As a Business Analyst II youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our transportation operations by creating innovative labor planning strategies that support hundreds of fulfillment centers across the United States.

Key job responsibilities
Develop Strategic Labor Planning Models: Create and enhance predictive workforce planning tools using advanced analytics platforms
Drive Operational Optimization: Design and implement data-driven strategies to maximize resource allocation and operational efficiency
Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Operations Finance Recruiting and HR to develop comprehensive workforce solutions
Implement Innovative Technologies: Leverage analytical tools to automate and improve labor scheduling processes
Generate Actionable Insights: Analyze complex data sets and communicate findings to leadership through comprehensive reports and presentations

Your day will be dynamic and impactful focusing on developing sophisticated workforce planning models. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies. Expect to engage in strategic meetings refine predictive models and craft compelling presentations that influence key decision-makers.

About the team
We are a collaborative group of strategic planners dedicated to optimizing Amazons transportation workforce. Our team translates business signals technological advancements and operational needs into comprehensive planning frameworks that drive efficiency and support our operational teams success.

- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of Excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3 years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

- 4 years of business analyst data analyst or similar role experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
