Our client in Newark DE is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to support front desk operations for a 6-week period. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers providing excellent customer service and administrative support to the office team.
*Greet guests who come to the office
*Maintaining office security and safety by abiding by safety procedures and ensuring employees and visitors are properly signed in
*Answer and direct all phone calls using multi-line telephone system
*Maintains safety and cleanliness of reception area
*Receive sort and distribute mail and deliveries.
*Packing scheduling and shipping outgoing mail
*Managing supply closet inventory
*Maintaining conference rooms and assist with scheduling
*Other clerical duties e.g. filing photocopying transcribing faxing etc.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role preferred
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Professional friendly demeanor and customer service mindset
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
-Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
