This centrally located employer outside the city fringe has a Kiwi-owned culture which you will recognise as soon as you walk in. This sector of marketing is experiencing growth and is being run professionally and immaculately.

The workplace is one you will likely want to be involved in. The workshop facilities are clean expansive and modern with large volumes of product ready for delivery warranty repairs and serving.

The role and duties
  • This is a supervisory role with hands-on leadership of a medium-sized team of technicians
  • You will need good basic electrical and mechanical skills and the ability to both personally fix a range of equipment and troubleshoot problems for less skilled technicians
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults to mechanical and basic electrical components
  • Installations of everything from caravan movers to TVs satellite connectivity fridges septic tanks and hot water cylinders
  • Installations of racks and associated accessories
  • Replacement of components general mechanics and a whole lot more
Skills sought
  • A WOF/AVI certification is a prerequisite for this role so too are good basic supervisory skills - this could be a step-up role
  • The ability to think through and fault find mechanical and basic electrical problems
  • Ability to install a wide range of accessories ranging from radios TVS converters and inverters heating refrigeration air conditioning and ventilation water intrusion issues control systems ladder door seals step hinges skylights cabinet alignments and water pumps
  • Basic problem solving with sinks/plumbing and black/grey water sensor items
  • A good work ethic and the ability to work with a team of like-minded professionals
Remuneration

While ultimately aligned to your skill set it is anticipated that the remuneration will be around the mid-$42 to $45 per hour with the potential for a company car for the right person.
