The Information and Technology Officer will be responsible for the co-ordination of all information technology requirements in consultation with the IT Manager.

Essential:

  • A degree or higher degree in a relevant IT or business area (Level 8 on the NFQ)
  • Significant experience of delivering maintaining and controlling information technology services electronic data management and communications systems; in particular M365 Azure AD LAN WAN WiFI and connected devices
  • Full clean Irish driving license and use of own vehicle.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with security appliances/processes and Microsoft cloud technologies would be an advantage
  • Other accreditations and relevant experience in Information Technology and support is an advantage
  • Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability confidentiality and management ability for the proper discharge of the office.
  • Have experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates excellent report writing skills
  • The person appointed will be flexible in their approach have initiative excellent communication skills exert influence and drive change have the ability to plan and prioritise work and be a strong team player
  • Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework
