Job Summary

Software Engineering Manager-Full Time
Location: Boxborough MA 01719
What you will be doing:

Write high quality C code using QT SDK.
Maintain proficiency with the Linux operating system particularly Redhat.
Understand and work with TPC/IP client/service technology and RESTful web services.
Manage mentor and develop the software development team.
Prepare lifecycle for different projects inclusive of research development design and evaluation.
Establish software development standards and processes.
Lead quality design reviews.
Supervise resource allocation and establish staffing goals.
Prepare and track schedules based on business priorities.
Enhance the functionality performance and scalability of product suite.
Research new technology and tools to improve product and processes.
Provide time and effort estimates related to engineering effort.

Experience you will need:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent.
A minimum of 15 years of technical experience in high-tech software development.
A minimum of 10 years of experience managing software development teams.
Strong multitasking skills.
Agile Scrum experience.
Experience in SQL and familiarity with database design and theory.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design.
Experience with various networking protocols (SSH / TCP/IP).
Familiarity with Jenkins Artifactory SVN.
Ability to complete DHS Public Trust Background Check.
Ability to obtain a government clearance.
Must be able to maintain a US Passport and be willing & able to travel at short notice to customer sites including international travel.
