Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a Family Assessment Specialist to join our Community Mental Health Services this intake-based role youll be the first point of contact for children and families entering NCSSwelcoming them to our services completing mental health assessments to guide treatment planning and maintaining a small caseload of counseling clients.
Most services are provided at our new Access Center in downtown St. Albans with additional opportunities to connect via telehealth or in the clients home.
Were looking for candidates with a Masters degree in a counseling-related field who are either licensed or licensure-eligible. Licensed clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply but we also welcome early career therapists working toward licensure. Hiring rate is based on experience education and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with NCSS policy and applicable laws.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in a Human Services or Mental Health Degree; or equivalent combination of related education training and experience.
