Job Summary:
The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will utilize your extensive experience to lead complex manufacturing projects and drive innovation in production processes. Your role will involve advanced process planning design for manufacturability and the integration of new technologies into the production line. You will be responsible for improving efficiency reducing costs and ensuring product quality.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Oversee and manage the development and execution of manufacturing projects
Create project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines
Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve project goals
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management
Process Improvement
Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies for optimization
Implement new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Conduct process audits and make recommendations for improvement
Train and mentor team members on new processes and procedures
Production Planning
Develop and maintain production schedules
Monitor production levels and adjust as needed to meet demand
Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements
Work with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
Quality Control
Develop quality control standards and procedures
Monitor and analyze product quality and make recommendations for improvements
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards
Budget Management
Help Develop and manage manufacturing budgets
Track and report on expenses and variances
Identify cost saving opportunities and implement strategies
Work with finance teams to ensure budget adherence
Team Leadership
Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing team
Set goals and expectations for team members
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
Identify and address any training or development needs for team members
Supplier Management
Identify and qualify new suppliers
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues
Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing team
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for change

Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering industrial engineering or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with a track record of increasing responsibility.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes equipment and technology.
Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of manufacturing professionals.
Strong communication abilities to effectively convey information to team members and upper management.
Problem-solving skills to address and resolve manufacturing issues promptly.
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with industry standard manufacturing software.
