Job Description
Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Family Medicine
Location: Lexington NE 68850
Contract Duration: 17 Weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Pay Range (Local Candidates): $3187.50 $3375 Weekly
Shift Schedule:
Monday Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)for an exciting local job in Lexington NE.
Responsibilities
Perform wellness exams and preventive care visits.
Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes hypertension and asthma.
Provide urgent care for acute health needs.
Comfortably treat patients ages 2 and above.
Collaborate with 2 clinical support staff and 2 providers to ensure efficient patient flow.
Dispense medications as appropriate within the health center.
Accurately document encounters in the EMR.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow established protocols.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification
Current Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license required
Education
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program required
Experience & Skills
Recent Family Medicine experience
Comfortable seeing pediatric to adult patients (ages 2)
Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care focus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
