The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Experienced Mechanical Technical Designer to join our team in Tukwila Washington.
This team is responsible for design and build and performing design engineering for flight test and design modification and instrumentation of military and commercial derivative aircraft.
A successful candidate in this role will have passion creativity and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. We need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety quality and integrity.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Develops and maintains engineering product definition
Prepares design layouts and modifies existing designs
Coordinates and develops work transfer packages
Contributes to the integration of product definition across internal and external business partners to provide a functional end-product
Investigates and resolves moderately complex manufacturing process or engineering related issues
Verifies accuracy of engineering data produced by others
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience creating engineering drawings
3 years of experience with 3D CAD modeling
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Flight Test instrumentation experience
Experience with CATIA/Enovia
Experience with process documentation
