A brief description of the role
An enthusiastic Registered General Nurse (RGN) is needed to work in a low-security setting caring for adults with mental health diagnoses and/or learning disabilities. As part of a multidisciplinary team across both main services and step-down services you will play a key role in supporting patients recovery wellbeing and independence.

Roles and responsibilities
- In accordance with NMC standards provide safe and high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Develop plan and implement an individualized care plan in partnership with patients their families and caregivers.
- Promote dignity choice and wellbeing for the patient by serving as the patients named nurse.
- The patients needs and progress should be observed monitored and evaluated.
- Promote independence by providing therapeutic activities and day-to-day support.
- Document and maintain accurate records.
Minimum requirements
- An active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- At least one Years of working experience as a Nurse post NMC registration.
- Knowledge of NMC guidelines and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Resilient empathetic and flexible with strong communication and teamwork skills.
