QA-Engineer (m/f/d)

For REWE digital Spain a subsidiary of REWE Group located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga we are looking for a QA Testing.

As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems we plan develop configure and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe with around 390000 employees.

Our team of more than 2200 IT specialists sets standards for IT implementation in the retail industry and develops new technologies for the sector. Today we manage more than 80 logistics centers and more than 23000 local network connections to ensure the continuous supply of data to the 32000 scanner checkout counters in more than 7300 stores.

What you will do:

• Basic understanding of software quality assurance

• Manual testing skills

• Executing manual tests

• Writing test cases

• Documenting results

• Creating test data

• Knowledge of test types (e.g. component test UAT)

• Ability to work self-organized across provided test plans

• Good understanding of user behavior

What you will bring:

• Tool: ServiceNow ITSM know-how

• ITIL understanding (focus on incident Problem Service Request Management Change Enablement)

• ISTQB-FL Certification

• Analytical skills:

• Ability to analyze and understand processes and procedures

• Critical thinking and troubleshooting

• Check whether automation can be considered
• Communication skills

• Logical understanding of requirements in order to create user stories acceptance criteria test case descriptions

• Clear accurate and concise documentation of test results

• Describing steps to reproduce defects

• Communication with:Process analysts and developers (to explain test results)

• TM stream (to understand test plan and expected outcomes)

Nice to have:

• German language skills
