Senior Healthcare Assistant Day Shifts Full-Time 14.40 per hour

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join its dedicated team in a welcoming homely residential care home for older adults. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care lead by example and support both residents and colleagues in a professional yet nurturing environment.

If youre an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to take the next step into a senior role this position offers stability career growth and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults every day.

What Were Looking For:

  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or above).
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (ideally with supervisory or senior-level responsibilities).
  • Strong understanding of older adults care including dementia awareness.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a compassionate and patient approach.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care supporting residents with daily living dignity and independence.
  • Lead and mentor care staff ensuring high standards of care and teamwork.
  • Administer and record medications in line with policies and procedures (training provided if required).
  • Build warm respectful relationships with residents families and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate care plans observations and documentation.
  • Uphold safeguarding health and safety and infection control standards.
