Key Responsibilities:
Generate and track Preventive Maintenance (PM) Work Orders according to OEM specifications and manage maintenance scheduling
Coordinate resource allocation and contractor activities ensuring proper safety documentation and permits are in place
Monitor and report equipment downtime work hours and maintain comprehensive maintenance metrics reporting
Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures Work Instructions and environmental/health/safety policies
Maintain detailed records of inspections calibrations and safety checks while monitoring PPE requirements
Participate in HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) and coordinate safety inspections/audits to maintain workplace safety standards
Support and implement 5S initiatives and food safety/defense protocols for the Maintenance team
Facilitate PRISM CAM (Capital Asset Management) training for hourly maintenance workforce
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for PM Program
Serve as backup for Maintenance Fill in Supervisor and support overall maintenance operations as needed
Education & Experience:
High school or equivalent
Maintenance planning experience in manufacturing preferred
Required Experience:
Proficiency in CMMS systems (PRISM CAM preferred)
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices
Knowledge of HIRARC principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Strong project planning and coordination skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Strong Problem Solving and Decision making
Strong Analytical thinking

Proficiency in maintenance planning software and systems

Knowledge of 5S methodology and continuous improvement practices
Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques
Strong project planning and coordination
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple departments
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Capacity to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues
Optimize maintenance schedules and resources
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies
Lead and coordinate maintenance initiatives
Physical Demands: The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to:
Must be able to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to climb kneel bend twist and squat
Must be able to work at heights and in small spaces
Position may also require crawling under platforms
Proficiency in grasping pushing pulling and fine motor skills
Use of ladders and other equipment
Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift and pallet jacks
Ability to wear respiratory protection as needed
Must be able to wear ARC Flash Apparel/ Equipment
Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection steel-toe shoes safety glasses)
Travel Requirements: Travel is not in this position.
Work Conditions: The majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to:
Noise levels above 80 dB
Operation of complex machinery
Solvents fumes and inks
Variable Temperatures
May be to work flexible shifts
May require nights weekends and holidays.
An additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only (qualifying hours vary by location).
