Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Shift Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Friday Saturday Sunday) Day Shift
Pay Rate (Local Candidates): $1552.50 $1725 Weekly
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiologic Technicianfor an exciting Local job in Ithaca NY.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray and radiologic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and technique to obtain optimal images.
Operate radiographic equipment safely in compliance with radiation safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare team members to support patient care.
Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients during procedures.
Ensure cleanliness functionality and calibration of radiology equipment.
Follow hospital policies infection control and safety guidelines.
Assist in training or mentoring new staff and students as needed.
Perform additional duties as required to support radiology operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Licensure / Certification:
Current ARRT (R) Certification required
New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent) required
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Radiology/X-ray experience required
Prior EMR experience (EPIC preferred) required
Core Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic radiology procedures and equipment
High attention to detail and image quality standards
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient safety dignity and service excellence
