Job Description

Kent Place School is seeking a collaborative pianist for choral accompanying throughout the school. Ideal candidates should have experience accompanying school choirs in a broad range of musical styles working with conductors in a supportive educational environment. This position requires excellent sight-reading skills flexibility ability to play and improvise in pop jazz and musical theater styles work from lead sheets and scores as well as a knowledge of current treble choir repertoire. We have excellent grand pianos and a collaborative and engaging music faculty and we anticipate the position will grow over the next few years. Requirements: minimum three years of performance experiene; a Bachelors degree in academic field or in Teaching preferred. Please submit a cover letter and resume to apply.
