Mammography Tech (Permanent Role) Location: Grapevine TX 76051
Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities: - Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate mammography equipment and ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
- Perform interventional procedures such as stereotactic breast biopsies and needle localizations.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of reports and images.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards (ACR FDA MQSA etc.).
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain equipment supplies and cleanliness in the imaging area.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications: Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program-Required
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist-Required
- At least 1 year of procedure experience in stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations -Required
Certifications & Licenses:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must have current certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)-Licensed by the Texas
- ARRT Certification-Must hold both:
- ARRT (R) Radiography
- ARRT (M) Mammography
